Saturday drivel
Two bad things happened today. Number one: I had to work. That's always bad when it involves a Saturday. Number two: I went to the dentist. Although just to get my teeth cleaned, I still hate it. I mean, who likes that saliva sucking machine?! Your mouth just aint meant to be dry. But, apparently I take good care of them.
And then one GREAT thing happened today. The first episode of Battlestar Galatica Series 2 was available for download this morning. ALELUIAAAAAAA *does a little dance round the room*. This one over here is a happy geek today.
But like I said before... at least I don't dress up like a Klingon. Or was it Deanna Troi?
Meanwhile, tonight we watched a British film called "Millions". Cute. About a kid who finds £300,000 and thinks it was sent to him by God. He's got this obsession with saints and knows all about them. Sees them too. Anyway, a lot of it is to do with how he and his brother decide to spend the money before the changeover to the EURO (like that's ever going to happen in the UK). The kid wants to give it to the poor, his big brother wants to buy property. It gets complicated and in the end you feel like the film is just full of unsubtle messages about giving money to Africans so that they can get fresh water. Still, it was cute. Not to mention a good piss take on the Mormons.
Anyway my cherubs, that's all from me today. Goodnight y'all and don't forget to floss your teeth. Otherwise your teeth will fall out. And if that won't do it, scurvy will. So, drink plenty of orange juice. Or Berocca.
